Avionics Test Station and Components Apprentice, Avionics Systems, F-15

You will maintain aircraft electronic equipment used on the F-15 and F-111 aircraft. The aircraft equipment includes various radar systems, communications/navigation systems, flight control systems and flight data recorder systems. You will learn computer hardware, computer languages and electronics fundamentals. You will maintain and repair both the aircraft equipment and the associated test equipment. You will test, repair, align and calibrate the pieces of main test equipment (test stations) and use various standard test equipment, e.g., oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters and RF measurement devices. Using the test stations and associated test equipment, you will test, repair, align and inspect the different systems. The workplace is an in-shop environment. PAY CHART
