You will be trained to perform aircrew member duties as an airborne warning command and control systems operator. Your career specialty allows you to operate computerized airborne radar sensors and electronic countermeasures equipment, plus maintain communications nets with ground, air and sea surface units. You will be trained to gather, record, display, control and distribute information between ground, air and sea surface command and control units. As an aircrew member, it will be your responsibility to perform preflight, postflight and in-flight duties to support the unit mission. When you complete academic training and your flying training begins, you are authorized to wear the aircrew member wings and receive flight pay. When your flying training is complete, you will be assigned to an operational squadron where your training will continue to qualify you in various theater operational procedures. Personnel may be assigned to CONUS or overseas units flying on E-3 or EC-130 aircraft. PAY CHART
