Nuclear Weapons Apprentice

As a nuclear weapons apprentice, you will be trained to inspect, assemble, disassemble, maintain, repair, refinish, modify and test nuclear warheads, bombs, missiles, reentry vehicles and systems and associated equipment. You will install and remove nuclear warheads and maintain clip-in assemblies, launchers, pylons, bomb racks and penetration aids. You will troubleshoot and maintain test sets. Systems you will be trained on are the Air Launch Cruise Missile, Short Range Attack Missile and numerous types of gravity weapons. You may receive introductory training on the Minuteman and Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Reentry Systems. PAY CHART
