Special Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice
Your training will develop skills that will enable you to inspect, troubleshoot and repair vehicles used in direct support of the Air Force flying mission. Special vehicle mechanics are specialists trained to maintain one type of vehicle as explained below. Your training will enable you to work on vehicle systems that include gasoline and diesel engines, electrical systems, drive train components, steering, brakes, suspension and hydraulic and air systems. The training and work experience gained in this field are in great demand in the civilian work force. PAY CHART
