What you’ll do

- Perform loading and off-loading of aircraft

Basic Military Training

Military Training Location
Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX

You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score.
*High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB.

60 Mechanical (M) and 50 Administrative (A)

- Knowledge of normal and emergency aircraft procedures, emergency equipment location and use, and basic first aid
- Must maintain physical qualification for aircrew duty
- Height must be no less than 57.5 inches or more than 80 inches
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Completion of the Aircrew Fundamentals Course
- Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
