Providing care for infants, children and adolescents, Pediatricians manage the physical, mental and emotional well-being of their patients. Whether they’re conducting a routine checkup or treating illness or injury, these specialists play a critical role in keeping their patients happy and healthy through every stage of development.

What you’ll do

  • Examine, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of infants and children
  • Prepare and review case histories for patients
  • Manage pediatric services using a variety of resources
  • Coordinate pediatric services with other medical activities
  • Instruct interns and residents in proper diagnostic and treatment procedures for infants and children
