GENERAL PRACTICE PHYSICIAN
What you’ll do
- Manage primary care services
- Perform minor surgical procedures
- Assemble and evacuate sick and wounded personnel
- Examine patients and determine X-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required
- Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings
- Administer and prescribe measures of treatment as antibiotics, drugs and compresses

Officer Training School

MILITARY TRAINING LOCATION
Maxwell AFB AL

- Doctor of Medicine degree or a doctor of osteopathy degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathy, and completion of 1 year of graduate medical education in a clinical specialty at a hospital acceptable to the Surgeon General, HQ USAF, is mandatory.
- A passing score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT)

- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
