Nursing Administrator
What you’ll do
- Evaluate qualifications and maintain functional control of Air Force Nurse Corps officers, enlisted nursing personnel, civilian nurses and ancillary nursing personnel
- Establish, interpret and direct implementation of nursing policy
- Plan and direct assignments and training of professional and paraprofessional nursing personnel
- Provide staff-development programs for all levels of nursing personnel
- Evaluate performance of nursing service personnel, nursing activities, standards of nursing care and nursing practice

Basic Military Training

MILITARY TRAINING LOCATION
Maxwell AFB AL

- Bachelor’s degree or be within one year of attaining your degree.
- A passing score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT)

- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
