01 Education Benefits
Mississippi offers its Air Guard members up to $9,500 per year in tuition assistance, along with the Montgomery GI Bill (up to $439.00 a month during the months of enrollment).

02 STATE TAX ADVANTAGE
Mississippi Air National Guard members pay no state income taxes on up to $15,000 of their military pay.

Mississippi Air National Guard members receive $25,000 in accidental death insurance.

State employees who join the Air National Guard are allowed 15 days of paid military leave per year. Mississippi Air National Guard members also have exclusive access to distinctive auto plates.
