Air National Guard members are paid equally based on their rank and years of service. You’re also eligible for additional compensation based on your position and where you’re stationed.

01 Education Benefits
Puerto Rico Air National Guard offers tuition reimbursement at state universities (maximum 18 credits per school year) for military member and dependents and discounted tuition for private universities. The University of Ana G. Mendez offers 25% discount for military members and 10% for dependents. The University of Puerto Rico offers 100% tuition for military member and 50% tuition for dependents.

02 COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION
Puerto Rico Air National Guard members are eligible for low-cost life insurance and funeral insurance.

03 Recreation Benefits
Puerto Rico Air National Guard members have access to the base facilities including the gym, commisssary and exchange. Additionally, Air Guard members can utilize the outdoor recreation and leisure travel service.

04 MISCELLANEOUS
Puerto Rico Air National Guard members can also benefit from a $60 discount on auto registration fee. Puerto Rico Air National Guard retiree members between the ages of 55 and 59 will receive $175 per month.
